Q&A Scene: Brooke Penrose – Saint Jude for Reservoir Stomp

Melbourne’s Saint Jude shamelessly wear a rhythm and soul tapestry of influences on their sleeves. Reminiscent of the Muscle Shoals and Shangri-La eras of rhythm-drenched country-soul and rock’n’roll, Saint Jude ring out in a mess of jangling guitars, swirling organ and tapered four-piece gospel harmonies that have become synonymous with their dynamic live show.
