Tell us about your new single/ album/ tour?

We play essentially around Melbourne suburbs where they live good old fashioned pub rock.

How would you describe your sound in food form and why?

Minestrone soup, warm, authentic, a fine mix of healthy tunes.

Tell us a quick, on the road or studio, anecdote.

When we travel we always travel in the one vehicle loaded to the roof.

What, or who, inspires you?

We are inspired by The Beatles yet we only play the Zoot version of Eleanor Rigby.

Which song do you wish you wrote?

Wish you were here – Pink Floyd

What can audiences expect this Saturday night at The Union Club?

Dirty Laundry serve the songs of the greatest writers in an authentic completely live manner , from Bowie to U2- Neil Young to Inxs- The Stones to ZZ Top and beyond , a sweatshop of the great songs that were/ are – a soundtrack to our lives , served with a twist of lemon , nice and raw and real with a complete absence of any sequencing , 2 guitars, Keys n Bass n drums , with lead singer Andy Wilson delivering with passion – the boys have been together as mates for over 25 years , they play with fire and sometimes Fury, and can’t wait to rip it up at the Union Club – Richmond on Saturday night . 14/10/17. Dirty Laundry 8:50 for 2 sets , followed by Jimmy Cupples and WIRED straight after .

What’s next for you?

We are recording a 5 track EP in early ’18.

What’s your scene?

We love playing in pubs and clubs that have a healthy thirst for completely live music with strong harmonies and raw guitar delivered in a passionate way.

Celebrations are still happening in Richmond after the Tigers won the AFL Premiership two weeks ago. The suburb is still decorated in yellow and black, celebrating the glorious win from fine Aussie sporting talent. Richmond’s football fever is lasting longer than this year’s flu.

What better way to keep the celebrations going than heading down to see some fine Aussie music talent with the brilliant double header at The Union Club this coming Saturday night, OCTOBER 14, from 8.30pm. DIRTY LAUNDRY and WIRED feature high energy music that will rock the Union Club.

WIRED features Jimmy Cupples who you will remember from THE VOICE on Channel 9 . He is described as one of Australia’s biggest rock voices and has been a familiar face on local stages and a standout at major venues right across the country. Cupples is joined by Davey Porter on drums, Travis Clarke on bass, Steve Ely on guitar and vocals. In addition, DIRTY LAUNDRY and front man Andrew Wilson will blow you away with high energy Live Rock N’ Roll show with music from: Doors, Stones, ZZ Top, Cars, U2 ,David Bowie, INXS, Neil Young , T-Rex, all performed totally live. Wilson is joined by Alex Long on lead/rhythm guitar and backups, Dave Neilson on lead/rhythm guitar/backups, Simon Toussaint on bass guitar, Tim Miller on drums, and Robbie Ragg on keyboard.
