Q&A Scene: Los Hombres – CherryRock015 Special

Q&A

Tell us about your new single/ album/ tour?
We are starting to record our new album the weekend of Cherry Rock 2015 at Goatsound in Melbourne. First up we will be releasing a split 7′ with Witchskull from Canberra. We will be doing a mini tour with Witchskull when ready to promote and celebrate this release.

How would you describe your sound in food form and why?
We are like a T Bone steak. Hearty and satisfying!

Which song resonates most strongly and why?
Low Blow – everyone has bad days where you cop a few low blow’s from people in a variety of forms. Playing or listening to big riffs gets us through.

Any on the road anecdotes?
Yes but we are keeping them to ourselves.

Where do you draw inspiration from?
Too many bands to mention, life experiences, the ocean and nature, panel vans, surfing, skateboarding, family and friends.

What’s next for you?
Split 7′ release with Witchskull. Album release late 2015 / early 2016. More live shows. More writing. Maybe release a film clip to a track.

What’s your scene?
No set scene. We have played with a variety of bands from King Parrot to The Datsuns. Offer us a show and give us a try!

About Los Hombres Del Diablo

LHDD is a band consisting of five mates playing the loudest, heaviest and grooviest rock south of the equator. Formed in 2012 LHDD set out to bring their own style of groove laden rock and their spin on the desert groove to the world. From Sydney Australia, LHDD have toured across the country and have spent the last 3 years captivating crowds with their infectious style of fuzz rock.

After only a handful of polished live performances they have attracted international support slots from the likes of Church of Misery (Jpn), Conan (UK), Windhand (USA), The Datsuns  (NZ), Beastwars (NZ) and played solid local shows.

LHDD have released their first album ‘The High Hound Blues’ consisting of 6 tracks available as download or CD on 666 Records. The band is about to record their first full length release at “GOATSOUND” Studios in Melbourne in May which will be available late 2015.
