Tell us about your new album Seasons? It is a journey, a genuine peek into our personal lives and the things we have experienced over the last 7 years of being a band. It’s a different project completely to what we started back in 2019, but as a collective it feels like it is where we are meant to be. It’s incredibly honest and musically cohesive, it’s something we are very proud of. There is something within ‘Seasons’ for anyone to enjoy no matter what you are into!

What’s your favourite work at this point in time? (group’s work) Each release, tour and point in time of ATR has been special in its own way. A lot can change in 7 years and to pinpoint one body of work as our favourite is hard, as they are all an accurate representation of where we were and who we were becoming, as people and artists. Personally I think that Cheap Adhesive was a real turning point for us and it inevitably led us to the album, which is one of our proudest achievements.

How would you describe your sound in food form and why? A charcuterie board; Good for special occasions, celebrations, when you are sad, it can sometimes have some interesting additions and if it’s a good one you’ll finish the whole thing (hopefully).

Tell us a quick, on the road or studio, anecdote: I broke my leg in Brisbane after a gig hahahahahaha, no more night clubs.

What, or who, inspires you? My life experiences and the people around me, friends, family and strangers. That is where my real inspiration comes from.

Which song do you wish you wrote? Particles by Nothing But Thieves!

What’s next for you? Well, once ‘Seasons’ is out, we hit the road for a tour of the East Coast of AUS, which I am super pumped about. I’m really excited to play these new songs. I have also been writing again, so album number 2 should be just around the corner, I genuinely cannot wait to hook in to that, excitinggggg!

What’s your scene?

I love being in the studio and playing/writing music, that’s my favourite! But when I am not doing that, I am in my tinny… I am a mad fisherman, you could say I’m hooked… ha ha haaaa. Also hanging out with the people I love! That’s my scene!
