Tell us about your new single/ album/ tour?

We are heading to Phillip Island to DJ the Burlesque show ‘Burlesque Carnival’ at Hotel, Phillip IslandĀ Saturday 23rd May, The night before (morning of) we are DJing at The Brunswick HotelĀ 1-5am

How would you describe your sound in food form and why?Ā 

Fairy Floss, Cherry Cola and Jack Daniels. We are sweet yet rock’n’roll.

Which song resonates most strongly and why?

Lust For Life- Iggy Pop. It’s good a fun beat to dance to, everyone loves Iggy, its’ feel good but still rocking!

Any on the road anecdotes?

Not any we can confess to! Let’s just say some involve selfies in the back of a divvy van, many a late night junk food snack, dancing with a pirate, and mixing booze with post mix cola in our Maccas cups.

Where do you drawĀ inspiration from?

The Queens of rock, Joan Jett, Debbie Harry, Heart.

What’s next for you?

Continuing to DJ our fav rock’n’roll events in Melbourne and beyond.

Heels On Decks are the colourful Rock ‘n’ Roll party DJs exploding onto stages all over Melbourne. This rock chick DJ duo creates a fun party vibe spinning their classic rock hits, 50s rockabilly, alternative tunes, indie dance floor anthems and face melting guitar riffs, all whilst entertaining with choreographed go-go dance moves!

Heels On Decks is like the love child between your favourite karaoke bar, a rock eisteddfod, and the house party next door you wish you gate crashed. Made up of the two bite sized Melbourne entertainment personalities: TV and radio host Cassie Walker, and hula hooping pin up Miss Shell ma Belle. Together these pocket rockets interact with crowds, obliterate dance floors and annihilate your weekends. Heels on Decks will rock your lobster, twist your shout and get your boots walking.
