Season 10 marks the end of this particular Law and Order franchise, so it seems fitting that our original detectives return for the final 8 episode arc.
Detectives Goren and Eames (Vincent D’Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe) return to the Major Case Squad at the behest of the new captain (Jay O. Sanders) after a hiatus during Season 9.
The detectives deal with cases involving such entities as the fashion industry, computer hacking, the Catholic Church, dating websites and Broadway.
Season 10 ultimately aims to help resolve Goren’s issues via psychiatric sessions with special guest star Julia Ormond who is more than ready to match Goren’s intelligence and ability to read people. Other special guest stars include Jay Mohr, Neal McDonough, Cynthia Nixon, James Van Der Beek and Patti Smith.
Season 10 was for the fans and was a great set of 8 episodes for us to say farewell to Detective Goren and Detective Eames.
