English minimalist electronic punk duo Sleaford Mods performed a sold-out show at The Croxton in Melbourne on Wednesday 11 March 2020, as part of their first Australian Tour.

Forming in Boston, Massachusetts in 1986, Pixies are often acclaimed as the most influential, pioneering alternative band of the late 80s, garnering extraordinary critical and popular acclaim. After five genre-defining studio albums, Pixies disbanded in 1993. The tide turned in 2004 – the band reunited and began touring, playing to sell-out crowds around the world including their first-ever Australian performances in 2007, later to be followed by a 13-show sold-out Doolittle tour in 2010 and again in 2017.

American power-pop glamsters Enuff Z’Nuff played The Croxton in Melbourne on Saturday 7 March 2020, as part of MelodicRock Fest. Since forming in Chicago during 1984, the prolific band has released fourteen studio albums, although none have repeated the commercial success of their self-titled debut from 1989 that saw hit singles Fly High Michelle and New Thing enjoy steady rotation on MTV.

After making two albums and touring with Alice Cooper in the mid-80s, Kip left in March 1987 to focus on his own band named Winger (named by Alice Cooper’s suggestion.)

American heavy metal vocalist and guitarist Ron Keel played The Croxton in Melbourne on Saturday 7 March 2020, as part of MelodicRock Fest. He moved from Tennessee to Los Angeles with his band Steeler in the early ’80s.
