What a way to see a truly iconic Aussie Band. At the back of a small country town pub. Surrounded by paddocks. Railway line beside it. Silos and railway station across the road. Dancing under gum trees in the ocuntry air with stangers with one thing in common. Mental As Anything. Stangers become became friends. All dancing together. Having the time of our lives. Men and women all dancing together and singing.

The conference agenda covered a full range of music-related topics to sink your teeth into from touring, management and marketing to mental health, diversity, the business of music, streaming, radio and more. It also included dedicated sessions on heavy, folk and Americana music.

King Hammond is Nick Welsh. He is a musician, producer, and songwriter from the United Kingdom. He is by far one of the most prolific ska/reggae musicians on either side of the pond, his resume includes Prince Buster, Laurel Aitken, Dave Barker, Rico Rodriguez, and Judge Dread. Nick also played on Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry’S Grammy Award winning album “Jamaican ET’.

Since their catapult onto the Ska music scene and releasing their self titled EP in July 2014, the OzSkas have performed sell-out headline shows in Sydney venues including, The Metro, The Factory Theatre, supporting, The Selecter (UK), Bad Manners (UK), The British Beat, The Toasters(USA), Melbourne Ska favourites – Strange Tenants, Melbourne Ska Orchestra and many more!!

The ASA’s National Songwriting Awards is an important annual gathering of songwriters, entertainment industry professionals, and fans of Australian music! Described by the press as ‘a glittering sit-down dinner – an unmissable fixture on the music industry calendar’, the night showcases the winning songs from each category in the Australian Songwriting Contest.

Formed in the East End of London in 1979 the pioneers of the Oi! music genre The Rejects will play highlights from their entire career including “Fighting In The Street”, “The Greatest Cockney Ripoff”, “I’m Not a Fool”, “Bad Man”, “War on the Terraces”, “Police Car” “Bubbles” (a tribute to their beloved West Ham United) and their iconic, genre-inspiring jam “Oi! Oi! Oi!”
