Year: 2025

Rob Hirst & Jim Moginie (Midnight Oil), and legendary songwriter John Farrar (The Strangers, Marvin, Welch & Farrar) were inducted into the Australian Songwriters Hall of Fame.

GWAR stormed The Factory on 1st December 2025, unleashing an intergalactic circus of metal, gore, and pure theatrical madness. An enthusiatic crowd filled the venue, which was good for a Tuesday night. Fans were drenched, screaming, and laughing in equal measure as the band launched into their set with complete disregard for subtlety, sanity, or the laws of basic hygiene – exactly as a GWAR show should be.

The Scottish rockers burst onto the Australian charts with the classic Take Me Out, which catapulted the band onto the international stage and topped Triple J’s Hottest 100 (2004).
