GWAR stormed The Factory on 1st December 2025, unleashing an intergalactic circus of metal, gore, and pure theatrical madness. An enthusiatic crowd filled the venue, which was good for a Tuesday night. Fans were drenched, screaming, and laughing in equal measure as the band launched into their set with complete disregard for subtlety, sanity, or the laws of basic hygiene – exactly as a GWAR show should be.

Onstage, the band proved once again why they’re the natural next generation from Alice Cooper and KISS, taking shock rock’s foundation and mutating it into something far more chaotic, grotesque, and hilariously extreme. Their elaborate costumes towered over the stage lights, and their over-the-top theatrics turned the night into a heavy-metal comic book come to life.
Musically, the five-piece band delivered tight, punishing riffs while a rotating cast of assorted characters invaded the stage – mutants, beasts, political caricatures, and creatures of questionable anatomy. Each new arrival seemed specifically designed to cause havoc, be dismembered, or both. True to tradition, they spent the show squirting fake blood everywhere, drenching anyone within range and transforming the pit into a sticky, ecstatic warzone.
By the end of the night, the crowd was soaked, sweating, and laughing like survivors of a beautifully absurd battle. GWAR didn’t just perform, they detonated a chaotic, blood-splattered spectacle that reminded everyone why their universe is so irresistibly fun. No other band turns absurdity into art quite like GWAR.
