I had been looking for something other than either a Fender or Gibson guitar to use mainly for recording. I was looking for a guitar with different sound. I’ve always loved the sound of those 50s lipstick pickups and these pickups don’t disappoint. When this guitar came up I just couldn’t refuse it. As a bonus it’s in a very rare colour, Emerald or Jade Green?
These guitars were made in the U.S.A. as budget instruments. I would think quite a few were made back in the day, but not sure how many original examples would have survived until the present day. These original examples are very rare here in Australia.
