Star Scene: Stef Furnari ~ DRUMMER QUEENS

Stef Furnari of DRUMMER QUEENS chats to Mary Boukouvalas of What’s My Scene Magazine about her drumming journey so far, her upcoming tour with Marcia Hines (APRIL SUN IN ST KILDA), and the upcoming Drummer Queens’ shows, opening 28th April at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne.
On April 28, the new must-see original Australian theatrical experience DRUMMER QUEENS will open at the Comedy Theatre in a powerful explosion of female rhythm and movement-the season runs until May 8.

The show recently had its hugely successful World Premiere season in Sydney at the Lyric Theatre.   Following Melbourne, the show will tour to Brisbane, Wollongong, Perth, Albany, Mandurah, Bunbury, Canberra and Adelaide.

Created and composed by Joe Accaria, with creative direction by Nigel Turner-Carroll and choreography by Peta Anderson, this incredible new live show gives a platform to 8 extraordinary Australian female performers who tear up the stage without taking breath in this 85 minute performance.

The show is loud, live and fun and is a celebration of female performers, female power and female rhythm. The show empowers the 8 queens on stage but also those sitting in the audience as they are immersed in the powerfully irresistible rhythms of this remarkable cast, in awe of their skill and inspired by the joy and energy of what promises to be a game-changing theatrical production.
