Tell us about your new single/ album/ tour?
‘Find Solace’ is the first taste of the new and improved Bayharbour. This is the first track that our new line up has worked on together, which also happens to be our favourite so far. ‘Find Solace’ is about coming to terms with death.
How would you describe your sound in food form and why?
Banana – tasty and good for your health.
Which of your songs resonate most strongly and why?
I personally think ‘Find Solace’ has the most straight forward message. Simple lyrics with a catchy chorus. I believe many people can relate as well.
Tell us a quick, on the road, anecdote.
Where do I start? Being on the road brings out a different side to yourself you didn’t know existed. In our case we become animals, if only we had recorded the conversations that happen in the van so people would understand. But this one time, we were driving somewhere between SYD and MLB, when we suddenly spotted some flashing lights in the distance. As we got closer we realised it was a crash and we were the second party to rock up, an intoxicated driver had fallen asleep on the way home from the pub and completely totalled his car, not knowing he was drunk we got out of the van to quickly help. After giving him my last bottle of water and Gatorade we quickly came to the realisatiothat he was hammered. Moral of the story is DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE YOU WOOD DUCKS.
Where do you draw inspiration from?
So many avenues inspire me, but mainly for me it’s Underoath. Always has and always will.
Which song do you wish you wrote?
Regress – Polaris – keep an eye out for the boys, coming in red hot. Australia’s best IMO
What’s next for you?

What’s your scene?
Anywhere with beer on tap.
About Bayharbour

Their recent cover of “Breaking the Habit” by Linkin Park has provided Bayharbour with momentum leading into 2015 with another video clip underway, album release plans and a lot of show dates both in Brisbane and interstate.
Touring several times nationally already, Bayharbour has also supported the likes of Betraying the Martyrs, Vanna, Iwrestledabearonce, Counterparts, Everytime I Die, Chiodos, Being As An Ocean, Norma Jean, Dream on Dreamer and many more. This has made Bayharbour true veterans of the metalcore scene in their home town of Brisbane. With influences ranging from
Killswitch Engage, Underoath, Architects and Misery Signals, this makes Bayharbour the most diverse metalcore band coming out of Brisbane.
With the recent release of their new single ‘Find Solace’, Bayharbour are ready for domination throughout 2016.
