In the age of MTV, it seemed that every second video contained scantily clad women in suggestive poses or dancing about to music containing risqué lyrics and sexual innuendo. One such video is Warrant’s “Cherry Pie” and whilst the song features some cherry pie that falls strategically in model Bobbi Brown’s crotch, the only real reference to food is in the title. If you’re a bit of a perve you’ll overlook the fact that it’s yet another video objectifying women to sell millions of records, but then again, sit back, don’t take it too seriously, ignore the blatant sexism and enjoy it for its sheer, cheesy entertainment value, oh and tight leather pants.
