Transvision Vamp, Northcote Theatre, 18th February 2026 by Mary Boukouvalas

Transvision Vamp’s 18 February 2026 gig at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre was a packed, high voltage stop on their first Australian headline run in nearly 30 years, with Wendy James swaggering at the centre of it all. Leaning hard on late 80s favourites from Pop Art and Velveteen, they tore through crowd pleasers like “I Want Your Love” and “Baby I Don’t Care,” turning the venue into a time warp back to 1989.
