Emotional Virgin is my first love song!!
What’s your favourite work at this point in time? (your own work)
I love my song “this is how i learn to say no” I was so true to myself making it and it’s a lesson I will be forever learning.
How would you describe your sound in food form and why?
Maybe like a salted chocolate that’s hard on the outside and soft on the inside. I seem tough but the real listeners know I’m a softie. At salt for the attitude.
Tell us a quick, on the road or studio, anecdote.
I was on tour on Halloween in New York. I went out that night and dressed as a latex bunny. I received a text from a person I was in a situationship with that was overdue and all I read was “I still love you” when the phone was snatched out of my hand and stolen. It was poetic as I cried with smeared mascara in my bunny outfit on the curb. I wanted to take a picture but I didn’t have a phone… I almost missed my flight having to buy a new one at the Apple store but I made it just in time. This was also my band’s first impression of me. At least I’m giving pop star.
What, or who, inspires you?
I have a very poetic mind and sometimes romanticize things that shouldn’t be romanticized. Everything around me is inspiring… nature, the club, following my gut every day, and making bold life choices.
Which song do you wish you wrote?
I wish I wrote Bohemian Rhapsody during the time it was written. I want to break all the rules and that song is a masterclass on doing whatever your musical instincts are called to do.
What’s next for you?
I’m preparing to release my debut album, “Emotional Virgin” and am booking my very first world tour!!!!
What’s your scene?
I am either at the creek or with the gays! I surround myself with spontaneous full of life human beings and I bring sparkles everywhere I go.
