Snap Scene: Dave Warner’s from the Suburbs, Caravan Club – 22nd April 2017

‘Suburban Boy’ Dave Warner gained national recognition as a musician-songwriter with the gold album Mug’S Game. Indeed Bob Dylan declared Warner his favourite Australian songwriter.

25 years since “Suburban Boy” Dave Warner released a full album and 39 years since Warner’s from the Suburbs did a smash and grab on the Australian music scene with their revolutionary debut Mugs Game album, musician, award winning author and screenwriter Dave Warner is back with the Suburbs and a new album of 12 original songs written across 40 years.

WHEN is an extraordinary new album featuring original Suburbs plus a host of Australia’s most outstanding musicians, and just like its forbear its unique voice is calling the disaffected, uncool, losers of the world to battle.

The band includes: Dave Warner (vocals & keys), Tony Durant (guitar & voals), Martin Cilia (guitar), James Gillard (bass & vocals), Lloyd G (drums & vocals), Nicole Warner (vocals).
