Not many punters know just what preparation goes into covering a music festival and how difficult it can be to get the stories out onto the net or into print. Lets face it…much of the time the cogs that get the whole media machine turning can be damn boring until the media outlets are faced with interviewing our much loved music gurus. Life then for the hacks can get pretty bloody interesting.
What made life more invigorating for What’s My Scene was the fact that the editors tried to change the formula up a bit by avoiding the straight interview and by deciding that interviewees make a drink on camera and give it a ‘Cherry Rock’ name. The good folks at The West Winds gin and 666 vodka, who saw fit to sponsor our endeavours, made this plan come to fruition. And so it was that W.M.S. took over the bar space and the most colourful spot in the house.
