Powerhouse rock and power pop combo THE PRIZE released their debut 4-track EP Wrong Side of Town in September after forming in 2021. Influenced by power pop, proto-punk and pub rock greats from The Nerves to Thin Lizzy, the Ramones to Todd Rundgren and Aussie icons like The Angels and Divinyls, the joyous new five-piece bring three guitars and five voices that harmonise together to make some of the finest blend of power pop and rock ‘n’ roll. Along with their dynamic live show, the band offer harmonies, hooks and energy with melody to burn.

The band is the sum of each member’s musical inspirations and influences, creating an eclectic and colourful soundscape, with one mission: to bring it to a live audience. “Each track from their setlist could be its own single … 30 minutes of power pop bliss.” – What’s My Scene
