Swedish rockers The Night Flight Orchestra performed at Max Watt’s in Melbourne on Saturday 5 August 2023 as part of their first tour of Australia. From Helsingborg, they were formed during 2007 by Björn “Speed” Strid and David Andersson as they toured the US with their band Soilwork.
Their debut album Internal Affairs was released in 2012, and their sixth and most recent studio album titled Aeromantic II came out in 2021. The Night Flight Orchestra is founder Björn Strid on vocals, along with Sharlee D’Angelo on bass, Jonas Källsbäck on drums, Sebastian Forslund on guitar and percussion, John Lönnmyr on keyboards, and back-up vocalists Åsa Lundman and Anna Brygård.
