Snap Scene: The Angels – Bendigo Racecourse, Melbourne 23rd Feb 2019

Legendary Australian rock band The Angels performed in front of a 7,000-strong sold-out crowd at Bendigo Racecourse in Victoria on Saturday 23 February 2019 as part of the Red Hot Summer Tour concert. After forming in Adelaide during 1974, lead guitarist Rick Brewster and his brother John Brewster on rhythm guitar remain the longest standing members of The Angels, and the core songwriters and producers for the band. John’s son Sam Brewster plays bass, and Nick Norton is the drummer.

With long-time front man Doc Neeson out of the band, Dave Gleeson of The Screaming Jets joined The Angels as their lead singer mid-2011, and immediately began recording a new album with them and touring. The Angels were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in October 1998.
