Snap Scene: Baby Animals – Bendigo Racecourse, Melbourne 23rd Feb 2019

Baby Animals played a sold-out Red Hot Summer Tour concert at Bendigo Racecourse on Saturday 23 February 2019. Celebrating their new Greatest Hits album, they performed a ten-song set of classics in front of 7,000 people. Baby Animals is singer Suze DeMarchi, guitarist Dave Leslie, drummer Mick Skelton (Thirsty Merc, The Party Boys) and bassist Dario Bortolin (Jimmy Barnes, Dragon, Olivia Newton-John). The band’s self-titled debut album was released in 1991 and spent 6 weeks at #1 in Australia (keeping Nirvana’s Nevermind out of the top spot), winning them multiple ARIA Awards, and achieving multi-platinum sales in Australia.
