Snap Scene: Tash Sultana, Bourke St Mall, Melbourne 22nd Dec 2021

Melbourne singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tash Sultana performed a 15-minute, pop-up show outside the GPO on Bourke Street at Elizabeth Street on Wednesday 22 December 2021, as part of a series of surprise gigs on the city’s streets.

The Bourke Street Mall spot is the talent incubator location where Sultana got a start and began honing performance skills by busking in front of passing crowds. Sultana’s latest album Terra Firma was #1 in Australia when released earlier this year. The city streets are a stage for Melbourne’s emerging artists.
