Gold Coast indie pop singer-songwriter-guitarist Amy Shark performed a 15-minute, pop-up show over Melbourne’s Yarra River on Wednesday 22 December 2021, as part of a series of surprise gigs on the city’s streets. Performing at the Flinders St Station end of the Evan Walker Bridge that connects to Southbank, she thrilled the passing crowd with a few songs, including her 5x Platinum singles I Said Hi and Adore.
Shark has won 8 ARIA Music Awards from 29 nominations, including winning Best Pop Release three times. Her latest album Cry Forever was released at the end of April this year and became her second album to reach number one on the charts.
