American comedy glam metalheads Steel Panther performed at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on Saturday 26 October 2024, as part of their On The Prowl World Tour.
Led by Ralph “Michael Starr” Saenz on lead vocals, the band also comprises Russ “Satchel” Parrish on guitar, Darren “Stix Zadinia” Leader on drums, and Joe “Spyder” Lester on bass (who is the band’s tour manager, as well as Starr’s and Satchel’s former bandmate from The Atomic Punks.) Known for their profane and humorous lyrics, coupled with their trademark exaggerated onstage pastiche of the stereotypical glam metal lifestyle, the Los Angelenos released their sixth and most recent studio album On The Prowl in February 2023.
