American post-hardcore band Saosin performed a sold-out show at The Croxton in Melbourne on Thursday 9 March 2023, as part of their first-ever headlining tour of Australia. Formed in Orange County, California during 2003, this was Saosin’s return downunder for the first time in thirteen years. As one of the genre’s formative pillars, Saosin were among the first bands to fully embrace social media since the MySpace days, and their songs such as You’re Not Alone, Voices, Seven Years and Collapse have all racked-up well over 10 million spins each. The band comprises Beau Burchell on guitar, Chris Sorenson on bass, Alex Rodriguez on drums, Anthony Green (L.S. Dunes) on lead vocals, and touring guitarist Phil Sgrosso.
