Living Colour arrive on our shores from New York City. Their instrumental prowess and politically driven lyrics have earned them critical acclaim, including two consecutive Grammy Awards. Their music is a creative fusion influenced by free jazz, funk, hard rock, and heavy metal, with lyrics that range from the personal to the political. The band built up quite the following in their original eleven-year run and then returned after a hiatus. The band re-energized in 2003 and has since remained an active unit, releasing two albums of new material and receiving raves for their incendiary live performances.
