Snap Scene: Grinspoon, Spring Loaded, Mornington 12th Feb 2022

Aussie rockers Grinspoon headlined Spring Loaded festival at Hastings Foreshore Reserve along Western Port Bay on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula in the evening of Saturday 12 February 2022.

“Grinners” formed in Lismore, New South Wales during 1995 and were the first winner of the inaugural Triple J-sponsored Unearthed competition. Their debut album went double-platinum on the back of five singles, and spent 36 weeks in the ARIA Top 50. Followed by another six albums, Grinspoon sold well-over half a million copies, before they eventually went on an indefinite hiatus in 2013 to pursue individual projects. Now reformed, the ARIA Award winners are Phil Jamieson on vocals and guitar, Pat Davern on guitar, Joe Hansen on bass, and Kristian Hopes on drums.
