Snap Scene: Cheap Trick, UTSS, Hastings Foreshore, Mornington 12th March 2022

American rock legends Cheap Trick performed at Under The Southern Stars festival at Hastings Foreshore Reserve along Western Port Bay on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula on the evening of Saturday 12 March 2022.

The band formed in Rockford, Illinois during 1973 and is lead guitarist Rick Nielsen, singer Robin Zander, bassist Tom Petersson, along with touring drummer Daxx Nielsen (son of Rick) and guitarist Robin Taylor Zander (yes, son of Robin.)

Cheap Trick has performed live more than 5,000 times, sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 – they are undoubtedly one of America’s top rock ‘n’ roll bands of all time. Last April, they released their 20th studio album In Another World to rave reviews.
