Heartwarming by day, spellbinding by night. From the moment we pulled up, we knew we were in for a treat. The jingle of Christmas music, the enticing smells of hot food in the thick of Winter. Frosted was open in its grand circus tent arena and ready to fill our souls with the Christmas cheer these cold days and nights have needed.
The arena was full of activities for all ages and decorated from floor to ceiling. With a blue wash throughout to make you feel that you were truly in a Winter Wonderland, characters including Frosty the Snowman, Rudolf and mirror ball ballerinas welcomed all that they saw. Mrs Claus graciously delighted everyone she came across as she made her way around the venue, spending time with individuals and groups of family and friends alike. Stage performers dazzled the crowds that flocked to their stage, with tricks to wow all that watched. The always-smiling elves were in full Christmas swing, helping young children to build snow globes, decorate reindeer antlers and create tasty bikkies with their families. Big “kids” were catered for too – with an enormous Frosty the Snowman jumping castle, ice skating rink, toboggan slide, hot drinks and food at the ready, and not to mention a twinkling hot air balloon to capture this magical moment in time. By far, the standout was the gigantic ball pit for all ages, where those who waited patiently in line had the opportunity to have “snow” ball fights with their loved ones or climb to the top of the inflatables to slides into the deep sea of white and blue balls.
Our 10-year old’s perspective rated Frosted one million out of 10. Without hesitation, our family would attend again to enjoy the Christmas magic that was created by Frosted.
During the months of June and July 2024, the big field in Narre Warren opposite Westfield Fountain Gate has become a whimsical sanctuary where all can revel in the magic of a winter Christmas under the Big Top.
