Canadian rockers The Tea Party performed at York on Lilydale in Melbourne’s outskirts on Saturday 22 June 2019 as part of their Black River Australian Tour. After forming in 1990, they have released eight studio albums on EMI Music Canada to date, which have sold over 2 million copies worldwide, and garnered them 4 double platinum awards.
The release of their forthcoming album Black River is anticipated soon, since they have just released the second single from it this month. The Tea Party is Jeff Martin on vocals and guitars, Stuart Chatwood on bass and keyboards, and Jeff Burrows on drums. It’s the band’s thirteenth tour of Australia.
