When the Breadmakers first formed in 1989 I don’t think any of them thought that their Rhythm and Blues fixated band would last the next 30 years. But they are about to celebrate this milestone next year at the Wild Weekend rock n roll festival on the island of Majorca off Spain.
Along the way they have played around the world including France, Germany, England and Scotland, Spain and several times in their favourite Japan. They’ve shared the stage with some of their heroes including The Pretty Things, Andre Williams, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Melbourne’s own 60’s RnB legends The Spinning Wheels. Now, with a brand new all original album in the can, they are super happy to bring their swinging and swampy version of 1950’s/60’s RnB to the Winnebago Lounge.
