We’re devastated at the loss of Rob Hirst, one of Australia’s finest drummers. Through Midnight Oil, to the Backsliders, Ghostwriters and The Break he made his mark on Australian music. He was a true musician who didn’t care if he was playing in the smallest pub or the largest arena – he gave his all every time. He was incredibly supportive of other musicians and generous with his fans. We’re going to miss him terribly.
