Snap Scene: PVRIS – Festival Hall, Melbourne 18th June 2017

American rock band PVRIS (pronounced Paris) from Massachusetts played Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Sunday 18 June 2017, as part of their first tour of Australia. Fronted by Lyndsey Gunnulfsen (aka Lynn Gunn) on lead vocals, rhythm guitar and keyboards, the band also comprises Alex Babinski on lead guitar and keyboards, Brian MacDonald on bass and keyboards, plus touring drummer Justin Nace.

Having won the Relentless Kerrang! Awards 2015 for Best International Newcomer, PVRIS has since toured the U.S. in support of bands like Bring Me the Horizon and Fall Out Boy, as well as completing their own headlining tour. The band’s rock songs have evolved from a post-hardcore style to having more electropop in their sound.
