Born in Athens in 1974. Performing from the age of 4 with his father, Nikos Papadeas ,he began his studies from a young age and has since become one of the undeniable masters of the Santouri, with a vast repertoire delving into Smyneika, early Rebetika and Nisiotika.
One time member of Apodimi Compania, Marios has collaborated with numerous international artists, including: Mariza Koch, Eugenios Spatharis ,Luiziana Red, Mohammad, Esmaeli, Madjid Kiani, Gerardo Nunez and Greeks: Ilias Andriopoulos, Alekos Arapakis, Glykeria, Nikos Dimitratos, Giorgos Katsaros, Loukianos Kelaidonis and Anna Vagenas Giorgos Koros, Dimitris Papadimitriou, Terpsichore Papastefanou, Zorz Pilali, Domna Samiou, Nikos Saragoudas, Evgenios Spatharis, Babis Goel and others.
He’s appeared on multiple television programs in Greece and also European programs and has played many notable international Festivals, including Festivals in Melbourne, Adelaide, Paris, Switzerland, Vienna, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia to name a few.
