Aussie singer-songwriter James Reyne played A Day on the Green at Mt Duneed Estate in Geelong, Victoria on Saturday 25 February 2023. After making a name for himself as the voice of Australian Crawl between ’78-’86 (who sold more than a million albums in Australia during the eighties), Reyne then forged a successful solo career, releasing a dozen solo studio albums to date, along with numerous compilation and live albums. James has had 19 Top 40 singles, including six Top 10 hits.

In the Australia Day Honours of 2014, he was recognised with a Medal of the Order of Australia for his service to the performing arts as a singer-songwriter, and his support of a range of charitable organisations. Joining James Reyne was his band comprising guitarists Brett Kingman and Josh Owen, bass player Andy McIvor, and drummer John Watson. James first shared a bill with Sting nearly 40 years ago when Australian Crawl was part of the Synchronicity tour – The Police’s final tour until they re-formed 23 years later.
