Holocene formed in Melbourne in 1992, when Kerrie (ex Autohaze) and Jo-Anne (ex The Squad/Ripe) got together to make noisy, melodic pop. Mick (ex The Beekeepers, Perth) and Duncan (ex The Squad) soon rounded out the lineup, and Holocene was born, the band name referencing an era of geological evolution.

Punters Club Reunion. Getting the band(s) back together! A trip down memory lane – aka 1990s Brunswick Street – we pay homage to the musos who helped shape the Melbourne music scene.

These are the artists who cut their teeth at the Punters Club, over cheap beers and a really sticky carpet. These are the artists you would have seen on any given evening (or Sunday arvo) on a stroll through Fitzroy.
