Snap Scene: High as Hell, Old Kilmore Gaol, Kilmore 1st May 2021

Stoner metal band High as Hell performed at Kilfest inside the Old Kilmore Gaol in the regional town of Kilmore on Saturday 1 May 2021. Hailing from Victoria’s Surf Coast, they formed during 2016 and released their brilliant debut album Razorblade Dream last November.

The three-piece comprises Dave Fazza on guitar and vocals, Tony Calleja on bass, and Chris Fittkau on drums. High as Hell performs a brand of party metal that’s big on energy, aggression, power, riff-driven grooves and anthemic melodies – a sound that seems familiar but so fresh at the the same time.
