Snap Scene: Gilby Clarke – Cherry Bar, ACDC Lane – Friday 1st December 2017

American rock musician Gilby Clarke played Cherry bar in Melbourne’s AC/DC Lane on Friday 1 December 2017, as part of his Australian Tour. Along with his 3-year tenure in Guns N’ Roses when he replaced Izzy Stradlin in 1991 during the Use Your Illusion Tour, Gilby has also played in Heart, MC5, Slash’s Snakepit, Rockstar Supernova, and Kill for Thrills. Gilby and his band of Sydney musicians played a solid set of songs selected from his seven solo releases, some of the bands he’s been in, a couple of Rolling Stones covers, and AC/DC’s Dirty Deeds.

Our photographers Paul Miles & Mary Boukouvalas were at the Cherry Bar to capture the night.
