Stalwarts of the intense Melbourne pub rock scene from 2000-2008, the band completed 2 blazing European tours, multiple acclaimed releases on such infamous labels as Beast (France), Spooky & Infidelity Records. At times swamp rock, at times garage punk brutality, at times dirty country twang, The Double Agents never ‘fit’ any specific genre… and they were happy about it!
They shared the stage with dozens of amazing bands both in Australia and overseas including Mudhoney, Dead Moon, The Celibate Rifles, White Stripes, The Dirtbombs, Detroit Cobras, The Monsters, Spencer P Jones, Kim Salmon, Thalia Zedek (Come), The Drones, The Exotics, the list goes on and on. The point is the band did shit loads of amazing stuff, had a blast, amicably called it quits (remaining tight friends ever since) and are now back and ready to have a good time.
