The Australian Songwriters Association is a national, non-profit, member organisation dedicated to the support of songwriters and their art, through providing avenues for encouragement and education of developing Australian songwriters, and recognition and promotion of their accomplished members.
The night featured the induction of Barry Gibb, and posthumously Robin and Maurice Gibb, into the Australian Songwriters Hall of Fame, as well as a second induction, of Hoodoo Guru’s Dave Faulkner. This year’s Special Guest Artist, Keith Potger (The Seekers) chatted to music writer Bernie Howitt and played somg songs.
