The Hives, Forum, 19th July 2025 by Mary Boukouvalas
Swedish garage-rock titans The Hives delivered an electrifying performance as part of their “Forever Forever The Hives” world tour. Their first Australian run since 2015. The high-voltage set featured fan favourites like “Hate to Say I Told You So,” “Tick Tick Boom,” “Walk Idiot Walk,” and the then-new single “Enough Is Enough”. Dressed in their signature black-and-white tuxedos, frontman Howlin’ Pelle’s dynamic stage presence and the band’s tight, garage-driven sound affirmed why they remain one of the most thrilling live acts in rock.
