Snap Scene: Halid Bešlic & Crvena Jabuka – Metropolis, Fremantle, Friday 19th October 2018.

Halid Bešlic, legendary folk musician and singer who has been performing professionally since 1978, is making his long awaited return to Australia!.

Halid’s singing career was one of the most successful in the former Yugoslavia, and continues today throughout the entire Balkan region. By 1984 was his breakthrough year, with popular songs such as “Necu, necu dijamante” and “Budi budi uvijek srecna” being heard all over the balkans.

Since then, Bešlic has recorded 17 albums and staged countless concerts worldwide.

Halid also had several hit songs in the 2000s and 2010s. The 2003 album Prvi poljubac featured the hit song of the same name. The song “Miljacka”, named after the Bosnian river, was featured on his 2007 album Halid 08 and the songs “Štiklom o kamen” and “Kad zaigra srce od meraka” were featured on his record Romanija (2013).

Along with Halid,we are excited to announce that Sarajevo Pop/Rock Legends Crvena Jabuka will be returning to Australia with Halid for this unforgettable October Tour.

Crvena Jabuka are one of the biggest names on the ex-yu rock and pop scene, a band that originated in 1985 and over 30 years later remain one of the most popular bands from the Balkan region.
