Scene News: ROB SNARSKI & FRIENDS April SUNDAYS at The Croxton

After 25 years as the honey-voiced singer of the Blackeyed Susans who boast multiple ARIA nominations, tours with Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen and Wilco, Rob Snarski launched his debut solo album, “Wounded Bird” in 2014.

Produced by Rob and longtime bandmate and collaborator Dan Luscombe with Shane O’Mara, “Wounded Bird” foregoes the lush arrangements of The Blackeyed Susans for a stripped-back and intimate sound palette.

In 2015 he followed it up with “Low Fidelity”, a selection of covers with producer Shane O’Mara.

While The Susans continue work on their first album in 13 years, Rob plays the Croxton front bar for the first time with collaborators JP Shilo (Blackeyed Susans, Mick Harvey) in weeks 1 & 2 finishing off with Shane O’Mara for weeks 3 & 4.
