Scene News: Nikki Nicholls – A Bridesmaid’s Journey

Sunday 30th August – 3PM

You know her as the sassy lead singer of Flying Saucer favourites, Jam The Funk, but now Nikki Nicholls is coming to the Saucer to present her own show “A Bridesmaid’s Journey” on Sunday 30th August.

Nikki has been professionally singing since she was a child performing both in Australia and overseas; she knew from a young age that this is what she wanted to be and was destined for a career in performance and song. Over the years Nicholls has performed as a session singer recording a myriad of well-known jingles as well as touring with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Suzi Quatro, John Farnham, Kylie Minogue, Lulu, Aussie Crawl and more.

This performance will introduce songs from her most recent record ‘Bridesmaid’, her first independent release, as well as songs off her rock album ‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’ (featuring music of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Jimi Hendrix), a collection of songs from artists she has toured and sung with and ‘on the road’ stories of her journey thus far.

You can expect a spectacular performance from this very talented songstress, so be sure to get in quick for this one Saucer Heads!
