Scene News: Jack White headlines the inaugural Harvest Rock music festival in Adelaide.

From the same crew behind Splendour and Falls Festival arrives a new two-day music festival featuring a stacked international line-up that’ll descend on Adelaide 19-20 November.

Welcome to Harvest Rock, an event that not only offers a world-class live music experience but also some of the finest food and adult beverages not to mention the innovative bars and art installations that’ll charm the most discerning of connoisseurs.

Set to headline will be one of rock & roll’s most distinguished figures of the last three decades, American musician Jack White who will perform his only Australian show at Harvest Rock.

Then there’s the deadset legends that are Crowded House, as well as American rockers The Black Crowes, Texas psych-rock groovers Khruangbin, superstylin’ dance powerhouses Groove Armada and 2022 Mercury Prize nominee Sam Fender.

But the immense talent doesn’t stop there ’cause Harvest Rock will also be welcoming Grammy-nominated duo The Lumineers, rising pop superstar Tones And I, a live set from The Avalanches, indie rock goddess Courtney Barnett, psych, lo-fi, blues rocker Kurt Vile (in an exclusive Australian show) and brother-sister folk-pop dup Angus & Julia Stone.

UK dance legends Hot Chip, American folk rocker Cat Power, soul-pop funksters Allen Stone, Aussie punk rockers The Living End, country-rock band The Teskey Brothers and rising star of hip hop Genesis Owusu will also be attending the inaugural Harvest Rock.

Punters will also get sets from Goanna, You Am I, Meg Mac, Marlon Williams, Holy Holy, Alex Cameron, Ruby Fields, Electric Fields, Towns, Slowmnago and ARC Presents Neil Young’s Harvest Live.

“The inaugural Harvest Rock will bring both iconic and hot new international artists from around the world to downtown Adelaide, alongside an abundance of incredible talent from our own shores,” Secret Sounds Co-CEO and Harvest Rock Producer, Jessica Ducrou says.

“Presenting South Australia’s best in show food and wine offerings including cellar door pop ups, a mash ups of chefs and musicians on our Feastiville Stage and Little Harvest for the kids, were excited to provide a festival with many different facets.

“We’re planning a good old fashioned get together – with great music, food and wine – so come experience Harvest Rock in all its glory.”

Harvest Rock takes place at Rymill & King Rodney Parks (Adelaide) 19-20 November.
