The LuWOW, Melbourne’s finest tropical tiki lounge bar, will be saying “Aloha Oe” at Christmas, when the doors will close for good.
As a massive thankyou to the people of Melbourne for supporting us over the years, The LuWOW will be running FREE ENTRY for the remaining Friday and Saturday nights in 2016*.
They’ll have vintage vinyl DJ’s, Gogo Goddesses, Nuholani dancers, and more, as well as some of the best live music(and cocktails), that you will ever set your eyes on… all for FREE!!
Plus midweek regulars: Wednesdays Rum Club with Rhythm n Roots DJ Joey Elbows. Thursdays King Kahunas Karaoke hosted by the inimitable Oliver Clark.
With a veritable jungle of fake plants, 5km of bamboo, hand carved tikis, and rubber beasts upon every surface; there is no place in town like The LuWOW.
Its cocktail menu stems from owner Josh Collins’ lifelong dedication to the appreciation and running of tiki bars, and boasts the signature $10 Mai Tai, as well as an array of Zombies, modelled so closely to the original recipes of the 30’s, only true tiki fanatics could spot the difference. Warning: Imbibe with care… they’re not called Zombies for nothing!!
