Kim Salmon and Stu Thomas play in a band called Kim Salmon and The Surrealists. Now they have taken up the challenge of a joint exhibition of their visual art.
Their works are wildly divergent from each other, yet they are both drawn to Surrealism as an art form and a creative philosophy.
The Surrealists Exhibition at the One Star Gallery presents the juxtaposition of Salmon’s automatic, abstract explorations of watercolour, and Thomas’ deliberately logo-like paintings, neon sculptures and uncompromising assemblages.
This is a free event – no bookings are necessary.
