Formed at art school in 1976 Mental As Anything are now commemorating the 40th anniversary of their first 1978 record ‘Mental As Anything Plays At Your Party’!

The present line-up of the band features original singer keyboardist Greedy Smith; ex Atlantics guitarist Martin Cilia; drummer Jacob Cook; guitarist vocalist Craig Gordon and bassist vocalist Peter Gray.

They are becomig a regular and favorite of the Royal Hotel. With hits such as: If You Leave Me Can I Come Too?, Rock N Roll Music, Live It Up, Concrete and Clay, and other fabulous songs.

Forty years of recording and touring and the show goes on. A fresh 5 track EP release titled “Mental as Anything – 5 Track EP” and a prime slot on the national Apia Good Times Tour sees Mentals rocketing into the future.

The EP sees Greedy and Martin trading songs in their time-honoured tradition.

Martin is currently off the road but Greedy and he are still creating new songs with that Mental Flavour.
