Tell us about your show?
The show is a performance featuring a performance of a solo album i recorded last year ‘red planet’, and a new piece i’ve comissioned from Australian composer Andrew Batt-Rawden for double bass, mandolin and computer.
How would you describe your sound in food form and why?
I’m a fairly high experienced performer and highly trained musician, and i prefer performances to broad audiences as i strongly believe in good music, and its abilities speak to every body. I guess the gourmet section of maccas.
Which song resonates most strongly and why?
Bela flecks ‘big country’ is a beautiful song. Every recording ive heard with the various ensembles he performs with always create a strong statement that can only be attributed to brilliant composition, beautiful simple melodies and world class musicianship.
Any on the road anecdotes?
Make sure there’s a gig to go to.
Where do you draw inspiration from?
The current world. It’s alot more interesting than what the media makes out.
What’s next for you?
I’ve had interest to perform a few new works and im developing a duo with guitarist/composer Dan Imbert

Book clubs, philosophy and extreme black metal.
